MCC NEET PG 2024 Counselling
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will soon announce the NEET PG 2024 Counselling dates at mcc.nic.in. The MCC NEET PG counselling process is conducted for the medical aspirants who have qualified in NEET PG 2024. Through the counselling process, the qualified candidates will be allotted a seat in the MD/MS/PG Diploma courses in various medical colleges in India. To participate in the counselling process, the candidates have to first register themselves on the official website of MCC-www.mcc.nic.in.
The counselling process is conducted in various stages, such as merit declaration, choice filling, seat allotment, document verification and reporting at allotted medical college. During the choice filling stage, the candidates have to fill in their choices of colleges and courses. Once the choice-filling is done, the seat allotment will be done based on the candidate’s all India rank in NEET PG 2024, availability of the seat and choices filled.
After the seat allotment, the candidates have to go through the document verification process, where they have to submit the required documents. Once the document verification is done successfully, the candidates will be allotted the seat and will have to report to the allotted medical college for admission formalities. Therefore, the candidates who have qualified for NEET PG 2024 must stay updated with the MCC NEET PG 2024 Counselling Dates and schedule and must register themselves on the MCC website mcc.nic.in before the NEET PG 2024 counselling process begins.

NEET PG 2024 Counselling: Overview
MCC will be conducting four rounds of All India Quota NEET PG Counselling 2024 for qualified candidates – Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up Round, and stray vacancy round. During the NEET PG Counselling 2024, applicants must register, pay fees, and fill out their preferred courses and colleges. Depending on the choices made by the applicants, NEET PG 2024 Rank and seat availability, admission will be granted.
A total of 26,168 Doctor of Medicine (MD), 13,649 Master of Surgery (MS), 922 PG Diploma and 1,338 DNB CET seats will be filled through the MCC NEET PG 2024 counselling. A sum of 6,102 colleges and 649 hospitals will be participating in the NEET PG counselling 2024. NEET PG 2024 Counselling: Types
The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has releases the NEET PG 2024 result which will be used for the NEET PG 2024 Counselling and seat allotment process. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will be responsible for MCC NEET PG 2024 counselling for 50% All India Quota (AIQ) and 100% Deemed and Central Universities, Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) and Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) seats. On the other hand, the respective state bodies will conduct NEET PG 2024 Counselling for state quota seats in Government colleges and seats in private Medical Colleges/universities. NEET PG 2024 Counselling : Eligibility (General)
Age Limit
There is no age limit for the candidates .
Attempt Limit
There is no attempt limit defined Thus, a candidate can appear for the examination as many times.
Minimum Qualification
A candidate must have obtained MBBS degree from an institute recognised by the Medical Council of India (MCI).
Internship
Only those who will complete the compulsory rotatory internship of 1 year on or before August 11, 2024.
Registration Certificate
Candidates must also possess a valid Registration Certificate issued by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or any State Medical Council (SMC).
NEET PG Eligibility Criteria 2024: For Foreign Medical Graduates
Nationality
Indian Citizen or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)
FMGE Pass Certificate
Candidates who have completed their medical education from outside India but wish to appear for NEET PG 2024 must first qualify the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE). This is a licensing examination that needs to be qualified to register with MCI.
Internship
All foreign medical graduates must complete their internship on or before July 31, 2024, to be eligible for NEET PG.
Registration Certificate
All foreign medical graduates must register with the MCI/SMC after obtaining the FMGE Pass Certificate.
