Rajasthan Veterinary Admission 2026: Overview

Admission to the Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) program in 2026 is done through only NEET 2026 exam. Major exam include state-specific tests like RPVT discontinued from session 2026, so students get into top Government and private veterinary colleges across India only through NEET 2026. Rajasthan Veterinary Admission without NEET 2026 is not possible by any mode and student cannot get direct admission options in colleges.

To get admission in BVSc, candidates must qualify for NEET 2026 and take part in central counselling process like Veterinary Council of India (VCI) counselling or state-level counselling. VCI conducts counselling for 15% of the total seats in government and some private colleges across India. All veterinary colleges accept NEET-UG scores and for out of state candidates 15% seats are reserved for management quota seats, but these seats also require NEET qualifying score. You cannot get direct veterinary admission in veterinary colleges of Rajasthan without NEET 2026.

 

BVSc is a 5.5-year undergraduate program that focuses on veterinary medicine, animal care, and husbandry. The course fee in government colleges is usually between ₹6,340 to ₹3,00,00 per year, while in private colleges, it ranges from ₹6.5 lakh to ₹8 lakh per year. There is also a package system in Rajasthan’s private BVSc college range from 32 lakh to 45 lakh for entire course. Package includes college tuition fee, hostel fee, mess fee etc. To be eligible, students must have at least 50% marks in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) subjects. The program prepares students for careers in areas like animal anatomy, surgery, nutrition, and pathology. You can get BVSc admission by NEET 2026 with high score in Govt colleges of Rajasthan and low score in private colleges of Rajasthan.

Rajasthan BVSc Admission 2026: Eligibility Criteria

The basic eligibility criteria for BVSc Admission 2026 are as follows

  • Candidates should have completed their 10+2 (or equivalent) from a recognized board.
  • Candidates should score at least 50% in PCB with English.
  • There is a 5% relaxation in the minimum marks required for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
  • The age limit for admission is generally 17 to 25 years. A 5-year relaxation in the upper limit is provided for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
